ComVest’s New Business Development group is dedicated to sourcing proprietary investment opportunities for both the Debt and Equity Funds. The NBD Group maintains an extensive industry contact database and was responsible for sourcing over 50% of ComVest’s prior (partially realized) equity fund.

 

In addition, ComVest has developed extensive relationships with industry experts and experienced management teams based on industry specialization. ComVest has also developed close relationships with many leading financial and legal advisors, and other intermediaries. These relationships can be extremely valuable in originating proprietary investments and assisting in due diligence and has proven to an excellent source of deal flow.

 

 

Seasoned Portfolio Managers methodically pursue opportunities from the thousands of relationships that have been developed. These relationships account for 30% of the ComVest Capital business origination. Portfolio Managers, along with their usual Portfolio Manager responsibilities, are dedicated to sourcing new business in designated regions throughout the United States.

 

 

External Consultants provide additional access to Investment Bankers, Funds, and other networking experts. Their focus is to profile and identify recurring sources of origination which provide 30% of ComVest Capital’s business. Consultants are target specific in their approach to originations of investments and/or funds nationally.
